2 LOTTO WINNERS ABOUT TO HAVE VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

The Virginia Lottery Department said Sunday two tickets contained the six correct numbers to share a $20.5 million jackpot.

The tickets were sold at Snellings Market on Courthouse Road in Fredericksburg and the Ararat Grocery in Patrick County.

The winning numbers in Saturday's drawing were: 1, 13, 15, 21, 41, and 43.

Each winner will receive approximately $500,000 a year before taxes. That translates to $340,000 annually after the government takes its share.

The lottery said 189 tickets contained five correct numbers to win $1,327. Four correct numbers earned $54 for 9,826 players. Three right earned a free play for 164,288 players.

The lottery says the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will be $1 million.

The lottery does not draw on Christmas Day, so the Lotto drawing regularly scheduled for Saturday will be held Friday, the lottery said.

Both Cash 5 and Lotto will draw at 11:20 p.m. There will be no Pick 3 or Pick 4 drawing on Christmas day.
