NAKED FILMMAKER COLLARED POLICE SAY MAN WAS MAKING MOVIE

Police arrested a man dressed only in a dog collar and boots and using a video camera to film himself on a downtown street.

The man tried to flee police on foot Friday night, still carrying his camera and tripod, before officers caught him in an alley, police said.

"It was kind of breezy for that attire," said Sgt. Robert Anderson, a precinct supervisor. Temperatures were in the 40s.

Police arrested Richard Wesley Dickerson, 35, of Henrico County and charged him with indecent exposure.

Dickerson, who gave his occupation as a computer analyst, appeared before a city magistrate in his natural state.

In the city lockup, he managed to raise eyebrows among deputies who are used to seeing unusual attire, including male prostitutes in women's garb.

"I thought I had seen it all," one deputy said.

Dickerson was released on $500 bond pending a hearing Monday in General District Court.
