OBIT LIKENS, FRANCES B.

LIKENS, Frances B., 71, of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 19, 1993, at home. She was the widow of Thurman W. Likens and a lifelong member of Cave Rock Baptist Church. Mrs. Likens was a member of V.F.W. auxiliary Post #1841; the Home Demonstration Club; Valley View Walking Club; and the Hollins Road Baptist Keenagers. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Vickie L. and L. Vernon Price, Salem; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy T. and Karen Likens, Roanoke Co.; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Karie, Kirk Likens, Roanoke Co., Amanda and Alison Price, Salem, Paula Kassraie, Cary, N.C.; one great-grandchild, Aaron Kassraie, Cary, N.C.; three brothers, Wesley Bower, Fincastle, Charles L. Bower, Blue Ridge, Theodore Bower, Crossville, Tenn.; also three sisters, Freddie Miller, Mary Bower both of Crossville, Tenn., Dorothy Wyatt, Chattanooga, Tenn.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 1993, with the Rev. John McKinney and the Rev. Juan Barr officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
