LEAF COLLECTION RESUMES MONDAY

Leaf collection continues through Wednesday in the town's southwestern quadrant. The southwestern quadrant is bordered by Prices Fork Road and Main Street and extends to the town's southern boundary.

Leaves should be placed at curbside, piled or in bags, by the first collection day. To prevent loose leaves from blowing, piles should be covered with a tarpaulin or an old sheet or blanket weighted along its edges.

Bagged leaves will be picked up within two days notice to the town, regardless of the collection schedule.

Collected leaves will be delivered free to local residents or farmers for compost. If you would like to receive leaves, call the General Properties Superintendent, 961-1145.
