BLACKSBURG HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The Town of Blacksburg has several closings and reschedulings for the holidays. Trash and recyclables that are normally collected on Fridays will be collected Thursday and again on Dec. 30 instead of Dec. 31. There will be no trash collection for the next two Fridays. For further information, call 961-1851.

The town municipal building, community center and Blacksburg Transit offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for Christmas. The community center gym will be closed Friday and Saturday and the aquatic facility is closed through Saturday

The Blacksburg Transit buses will operate Friday until 6 p.m., but will not be in operation on Saturday The buses will resume the "break" schedule on Sunday For further information, call 961-1130.
