OBIT BANE, RAYMOND DANIEL

BANE, Raymond Daniel, 49, of Vinton, passed away Monday, December 20, 1993, in a local hospital. He never served on any board or worked for any large corporation but he never knew a stranger and always had a "hello" for everyone. Surviving are one daughter, Lorie Michelle Bane, Roanoke; two sons, Michael Ray Bane and Chad Edward Bane, both of Roanoke; his mother, Mary Daisy Hannuah, Chamblissburg; one brother, Michael St.Clair Bane, Chamblissburg; three sisters, Nancy Lee Cooper, Chamblissburg, June Marie Hannuah, Salem, Betty Ann Jonas, Vinton; four grandchildren, Casey N. Bane, Brandy L. Bane, Tiffany D. Bane, Paris C. Bane; two nieces, Vicky Hamm, and Amy Thompson; three nephews, Garland Broughman, Jeffrey Broughman, and Chris Bane; also survived by the mother of his children and friend, Florine Bane. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, December 23, 1993, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to Toys for Tots, or the City Rescue Mission, so others may enjoy a Merry Christmas. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
