CHARLOTTESVILLE LINEMAN WILL PLAY FOR UVA

Charlottesville High School's Tony Agee, considered one of the top line prospects in the state, has made an oral commitment to play football for Virginia.

Agee, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound tackle, attended the Cavaliers' camp during the summer and took an official visit to UVa on the first weekend in December.

Agee, who said he was timed in 4.7 seconds for 40 yards, was named All-Central Virginia by the Daily Progess in Charlottesville. He was a four-year starter in football and also starts at center for his basketball team.

Agee has taken the Scholastic Assessment Test once and said he is optimistic of meeting the 700 minimum on his second try in January.
