OBIT-COX, HAZEL CAMPBELL

COX, Hazel Campbell, 84, of Roanoke County, died Thursday, December 23, 1993. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, William Elvin Cox; a son, Wayne E. Cox and two daughters, Freeda Moses and Janice Dudley. Surviving are three sons, William A. Cox, James B. Cox both of Roanoke County, Donald E. Cox, Buford, Ga.; five daughters, Irene Thornhill, Buford, Ga., Louise Collins, Radford, Va., Florence Guilliams, Salem, Linda Smith, Lilburn, Ga., Nancy Bailey, Boones Mill; a sister, Sadie Saunders, Grove City, Ohio; 36 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Lotz Roanoke Chapel at noon Monday, December 27, 1993, with Rev. I. W. Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Alcorn Cemetery, Roanoke County. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday.
