OBIT-MARTIN, MAYMIE VIRGINIA

MARTIN, Maymie Virginia, 86, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, December 22, 1993, in a Salem nursing home. She was a retired Registered Nurse with Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley and a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church. She was a graduate of the Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing and a member of their alumni association. Surviving are a brother, Harvey W. Martin, Dublin; sisters, Melissa M. Pratt, Roanoke, and Euna M. Brown, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be at the graveside at Evergreen Burial Park 11 a.m. Monday with Dr. Daniel E. Scott officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 10 a.m. Sunday.
