BARGER-STUMP

The engagement of Barret Ann Barger to Charles Thomas Stump, Jr. is announced today.

Miss Barger is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Edward Petty of Evington and Joseph William Barger of Buena Vista. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. John D. Bottoms, Sr. of Madison Heights and Mrs. Jesse W. Barger of Natural Bridge.

Mr. Stump is the son of Patricia Hogan Stump and the late Mr. Charles Thomas Stump of Lynchburg. He is the grandson of Amley S. Hogan of Lynchburg.

A wedding is planned for June 25th at the couple's residence in Troy, Va.
