OBIT-BURKE, KATE ANDERSON

BURKE, Kate Anderson 78, of Radford, died Saturday, December 25, 1993, in a Radford hospital. She was a retired teacher with Pulaski County Schools. Surviving are her husband, Howard N. Burke, Radford; one daughter, Norma Jean Burke, Radford; one brother, Durward S. Anderson, Anchorage, Ala. and her favorite pets, Sissy and Angel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rockford United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Neil Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
