OBIT-HOSTETTER, IRENE BANE

HOSTETTER, Irene Bane, 79, of Lexington, died Friday, December 24, 1993 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Hostetter was born August 14, 1914 in Rockbridge County a daughter of the late David A. Bane and Nora Hostetter Bane. She was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and the widow of Aaron Ballard Hostetter. Surviving are a son, Osborne A. Hostetter, Lexington; a daughter, Shirley A. Snyder, Lexington; three sisters, Dorothy B. Neice, Lexington, Clara B. Floyd, Buena Vista; Rachel B. Agnor, Richmond; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 27, 1993 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert M. Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the Rockbridge area Hospice, P.O. Box 948, Lexington, Va. 24450. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home.
