PAGANS, Mearl, 49, of Route 2, Wirtz, passed away, Saturday, December 25,
1993. Mr. Pagans is survived by his wife, Patsy M. Pagans of the home; three
stepdaughters and one stepson-in-law, Rhonda and Keith Holley of Rocky Mount,
Brenda and Tammy Hodges of the home; one stepson, Larry Hodges of Wirtz; also
his mother, Frances V. Pagans of Wirtz; five sisters and four brothers-in-law,
Flossie and Possie Holland of Rocky Mount, Mildred and Henry Hartz of
Lynchburg, Estelle and Floyd Bolling of Moneta, Drucillia and Mac McCoy and
Nancy Holland all of Wirtz; four brothers and four sisters-in-law, Ervin and
Helen Pagans of Wirtz, Pete and Frankie Pagans of Moneta, Henry and Shirley
Pagans of Wirtz, William and Pam Pagans of Hardy; mother-in-law, Elizabeth
(Lizzie) Robertson of Wirtz; two stepgrandchildren; and also a number of
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday,
December 28, 1993 at the Mt. Ivy Christian Church with the Rev. J.D. Hunt III,
the Rev. Steve Pasley, the Rev. Melvin Harris and Pastor Joe Dillon
officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call
Monday, December 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
