OBIT RAGLAND, RICHARD STANLEY

RAGLAND, Richard Stanley, 74, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, December 21, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mr. Ragland was a veteran of World War II. He was a strong supporter of the VFW National Home, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War's Jack & Lee Ragland Post No. 9119. Mr. Ragland was also a member of the Reserve Officer's Association of the United States. He earned his Physics degree from the University of Idaho, and a Biology degree from V.P.I. & S.U. Mr. Ragland was an instructor of Physics at V.M.I. Mr. Ragland's only survivors are cousins. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 30, 1993, 3 p.m., in the Union Cemetery, Urichville, Ohio. The Rev. H. Gilbert Stillwagon will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the McCoy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign War's of the U.S. Jack & Lee Ragland, Post No. 9119, Roselle Park, N.J. 07204. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.
