OBIT DAVIS, ADA GILLEY

DAVIS, Ada Gilley, 95, of Campbell Rest Home, Bedford, formerly of Eden, N.C., died Sunday, December 26, 1993. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie L. Davis and son, Harvey B. Davis. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lucille M. Davis of Moneta; granddaughter, Susan D. Tinsley and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kristin Tinsley, all of Moneta; two brothers, Fred Gilley and Frank Gilley, both of Pleasant Grove; a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Davis was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1993, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Collins Funeral Home.
