OBIT MILLS, ARTHUR PAUL

MILLS, Arthur Paul, 92, of Boones Mill died Sunday, December 26, 1993, at his home. He was a retired employee of N & W Railway, and a member of Cedar Bluff Church of the Brethren. Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his wife, Renzie Guthrie Mills; three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Viola and Ray Bowling, Boones Mill; granddaughter and husband, Mitzi and Tim Steele, Roanoke; grandson, Ray Paul Bowling, Boones Mill; two great-grandsons, Dayton and Garrett Steele, Roanoke; two sisters, Sible ("Susie") Mills, and Mrs. Claude (Charlotte) ("Mary") Guthrie, both of Boones Mill; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Mills, Ruth Mills and Josephine Mills, all of Boones Mill; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Chris Foster and the Rev. Bruce Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Boones Mill Rescue Squad. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
