OBIT DAVIS, HARRY C.

DAVIS, Harry C., 85, of Route 1, Glade Hill, passed away Sunday, December 26, 1993. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Benjamin Davis. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Wray Davis, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Casteen Davis Jr., Redwood, Carlton Lee and Barbara Davis, Alvin Ray and Linda Davis, all of Glade Hill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda D. and Donald Young, Brenda D. and Franklin Quesenberry, all of Glade Hill; also surviving are ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven stepgrandchildren; ten stepgreat-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and a very special friend and caregiver, Mrs. Brenda Chafin. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 1993, at the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Doss and the Rev. Hollis Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, at the Lynch Funeral Home, where the family will from 7 to 9 p.m.
