OBIT HORNE, LAURA MILLS

HORNE, Laura Mills, of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Franklin County, Va., died Sunday, December 26, 1993, in Florida. She was a daughter of the late John Donald and Roxie Mills. Surviving are a sister, Nora Lockard, Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Alma Mills, Boones Mill, Margaret Mills, Winter Park, Fla.; one brother-in-law, Howard Wray, Boones Mill; special friend, Pete Zachko, Florida; a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 3 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Chris Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
