OBIT BANNISTER, ROY WILLIAM

BANNISTER, Roy William, 72, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, December 23, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tracy M. Bannister; two sons, Marion D. Childress, Fort Wainwright, Alaska, Glen W. Childress, Roanoke; one daughter, Ella M. Hebron, Portsmouth; three brothers, a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Ulas N. Broady will officiate.
