DOCTOR SUED BY EX-PATIENT FOR SEX ABUSE

A physician whose license was suspended is being sued by a former female patient who said he sexually assaulted her.

Ester Carrasco's lawsuit, filed this week in Arlington Circuit Court, alleges Dr. Franz Arakaky sexually assaulted her during an examination for severe headaches in his office at the Northern Virginia Medical Center.

Carrasco said the attack occurred April 3 when she and the doctor were alone in an examining room.

The woman said even though she was drugged, she screamed and fled when the doctor exposed his penis. Her husband, Jose Acuna, came to see what had occurred and said he also saw the doctor's exposed genitals.

Arakaky's license was suspended this past summer after an Arlington grand jury charged him with the sexual battery of Carrasco and two other female patients. - Associated Press
