MONDLAK, ALICE NEIKIRK, 83, OF ROANOKE,
MONDLAK, Alice Neikirk, 83, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, December 29, 1993
in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J.
Mondlak, parents Joseph and Rosa Neikirk, two sisters, Helen N. Mabe and
Elizabeth N. Myers and three brothers, John W. Neikirk, Vance Neikirk and Jack
Neikirk. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Bobby Roberts;
grandson, Keith Roberts; two great-granddaughters, Katelynn and Lauren
Roberts, all of Mechanicsville, Md,; one sister, Bradley N. White, Roanoke;
two brothers, Thomas P. Neikirk, New York, N.Y., J.G. Neikirk, Newport News;
several nieces and nephews. She was a retired LPN from Roanoke Memorial
Hospital. Funeral services will be at the graveside, West End Cemetery,
Wytheville 1 p.m. Friday, December 31, 1993 with Dr. Charles Burnett
officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel where the family will
receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
