OBIT - PIERCE, NELLIE FRANCES SIMMS

PIERCE, Nellie Frances Simms, 98, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 28, 1993. She is survived by two nieces and their husbands, Marlene and Larry Wilkerson, Patti and Vinny Salzano; great-nephews and great-niece, Robbie Wilkerson, Bryon Wilkerson, Tony Salzano, Jennifer Salzano; sister-in-law, Norma Simms; other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
