OBIT BRINK, JOY KARDIS

BRINK, Joy Kardis, 36, of Huddleston, died Wednesday, December 29, 1993. She was a member of Melrose Baptist Church, a graduate of Cave Spring High School, and Virginia Western Community College, and an employee of Smith Mountain Lake Eagle Newspaper. Surviving are her husband, Randy L. Brink, Huddleston; parents, Andrew and Edna Kardis, Roanoke; sister, Sherry K. Cotman, Annandale. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's South Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 1994, by the Rev. Larry Sprouse. Burial will be in Bedford County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel.
