OBIT BRYANT, SAMUEL K.

BRYANT, Samuel K., 85, of Austinville, Va., passed away Wednesday, December 29, 1993 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home, Roanoke. Mr. Bryant was born August 30, 1908 in Carroll County, Va., the son of the late Thomas Bryant and Lillie Jennings Bryant. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Beulah Bryant, Austinville; a daughter and son-in-law, Leota and Carl Edwards, Austinville; a brother, Creed Bryant, Austinville; two sisters, Bertha Mabe, Austinville; Linnie Quesenberry, Hillsville; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 1, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Coulson Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Harry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery, Carroll County, Va. The family will receive friends Friday, December 31, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va.
