COLLEGE OFFERING TOOL-AND-DIE CLASS

The state's only program in tool-and-die-making and moldmaking is accepting applicants for the spring semester at New River Community College.

The program prepares students for jobs in the metalworking industry through hands-on instruction with state-of-the -art equipment.

Day and night classes are available during the spring semester, which starts Jan. 10.

Applicants should have at least a year of industrial experience or have completed a machine technology program.

Registration resumes following the holiday break on Jan. 3.
