CONVENIENCE-STORE ROBBERY REPORTED

Roanoke police were investigating a robbery at a neighborhood convenience store Thursday night.

A man entered the Uni-Mart at 3842 Shenandoah Avenue N.W. about 10 p.m. and threatened to shoot the clerk, police said. The robber never brandished a weapon, keeping his hand in his pocket.

The man took an undetermined amount of money and fled the store, police said.
