RADVA Corp., a Radford manufacturer of packaging and building materials, said it plans to designate Reynolds International Inc., a division of Reynolds Metals Co. of Richmond, a sales representative for its Thermastructure building panels.
Kollmorgen Corp., a Simsbury, Conn., parent of Inland Motors and Industrial Drives in Radford, said its Waltham, Mass., Electro-Optical Division has received a $10 million increase in its continuing $49 million contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command to manufacture sights for guided-missile destroyers.
Carpetland USA, a Munster, Ind., retailer, said its stores in Roanoke and Danville will begin a new marketing procedure called TrustMark for floor coverings made by Shaw Industries and SmartChoice for carpets by other makers. New labeling includes the fiber, density, face weight, twist and rating for performance. It is intended to allow consumers to compare carpets more easily.
