SMOKING BAN DUE FOR MILITARY AROUND WORLD

The Department of Defense is expected next week to ban smoking in the workplace, affecting everything from U.S. military installations around the world to jeeps and trucks.

A Pentagon spokesman said certain areas were exempted from the ban, including barracks and living quarters, recreation areas and in restaurants. - Associated Press
