SALEM SCHOOLS GET OUT EARLY FOR BASKETBALL

Schools in Salem will be dismissed early on Friday and Saturday when Salem High School plays in the Group AA basketball tournament in Charlottesville.

Students will attend school on Saturday to make up one of the days that was lost to snow and ice.

Classes will be dismissed at Salem High School at 11 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday. East Salem, South Salem and West Salem schools will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. Breakfast will be served, but not lunch.

Classes at Andrew Lewis and G.W. Carver will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Both breakfast and lunch will be served at these two schools.
