CANDIDATE FORUMS SCHEDULED

Roanoke City Council candidates will appear at a series of community forums over the next few weeks:

Tonight: Greater Raleigh Court Civic League meeting, Christ Lutheran Church, Brandon Avenue and Grandin Road, 7:30 p.m.

March 15: People's Voter League meeting, High Street Baptist Church, 2302 Florida Ave., N.W., 7 p.m.

March 21: Sigma Pi Phi-Beta Boule' fraternity meeting, First Baptist Church, 310 N. Jefferson St., 7 p.m.

All seven candidates running for the four seats to be voted on in the May 3 election have been invited, but there's no guarantee that all seven will be at each forum.
