\ LYNCHBURG COLLEGE STUDENTS, Christopher L. Boyd, Shoan Martin, and Tonya Zimmer, all from Roanoke, recently participated in the in the eighth annual National Black Student Leadership Conference at the College of William and Mary.

Boyd, son of Diane Boyd of Roanoke, is a freshman journalism major, and Martin, son of Geneva Martin of Roanoke, is a junior accounting major. Both are graduates of Patrick Henry High School. Zimmer, daughter of Debra Briley of Roanoke, is a junior political science major.

\ THE GENERAL JAMES BRECKINRIDGE CHAPTER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION has named four winners of the 1993-94 DAR Good Citizenship Award.

The award is given to seniors and recognizes dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

They recipients are: Amy Suzanne Patterson, Lord Botetourt High School, daughter of Sandra F. Wrobel of Roanoke; Ryland Bennett Moore, North Cross School, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moore of Roanoke; Ellen Coley Harris, Patrick Henry High School, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bayard Harris of Roanoke; and Betsy Jean Correll, Roanoke Valley Christian Schools, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Correll of Roanoke.

\ DOMINION BUSINESS SCHOOL has announced the names of students from the Roanoke campus who received academic honors for the 1993 fall semester.

Students from Roanoke named to the director's list were: Sonia Anderson, Diane Brown, Deidra Burgess, Sara Cochran, Cynthia Frazier, Donna Lipscomb, Cheryl O'Neil, Jennifer Ondell, Audrey Saul, Victoria Sink, Laura Lee Snow, Margaret Sullivan, Pricilla Toliver, Sabrina Toliver and Diana Wolfe.

Also named to the director's list were: Linda Freeman and Bonnie Gordon, both of Blue Ridge; Cynthia Hannah of New Castle; Sandra McCorkle of Troutville; and Tracy Newberry of Salem.
