Six business petitions have been filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Western Virginia at Roanoke.

Steven Wayne Hodge and Angelia Carol Hodge of Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, trading as Carousel Bakery, filed for liquidation, listing assets of $6,509 and liabilities of $21,793.

Mosby's Restaurant Inc. of Wise sought liquidation, showed assets of $85,978 and liabilities of $427,040.

Triple S Coal Co. Inc. of Grundy had assets of $26,000 and liabilities of $614,242. The company filed for liquidation.

Ronald Ray Pinson Sr. and Norma Jean Pinson of Troutville filed for a wage-earner plan for repayment of creditors. Pinson said he owns a jail equipment maintenance service. The Pinsons showed assets of $139,200 and liabilities of $105,108.

Thomas Lee Potter of Fleming Avenue in Roanoke filed a wage-earner plan for repayment of creditors. He operates an auto repair and towing service. Assets were $57,695 and liabilities totaled $46,206.

Phyllis Ola Gay Deel Proffitt of Pounding Mill asked for a wage-earner plan. The operator of PJ's Restaurant Lounge Inc. at Cedar Bluff, she showed assets of $137,025 and liabilities of $77,664. - Staff report

United Dominion Realty Trust Inc., Richmond owner of apartments and industrial property in Roanoke and Salem, said it has bought Lakewood Place Apartments in Tampa, Fla., for $11.9 million from Lakewood Partners, Ltd., an affiliate of FRM Properties of Newtown Square, Pa.

CCAIR Inc., an independent airline flying as USAir Express in the Southeast, said Friday it has agreed with USAir on CCAIR's handling of ground operations at Concourse D of Charlotte/Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, N.C.

Huntington National Bank, the flagship unit of Columbus, Ohio-based Huntington Bancshares, has introduced the first interactive video banking machines in use by a U.S. bank. The move foreshadows what analysts said is the future of consumer banking - an interactive around-the-clock electronic bank.
