ROANOKE VALLREY ECONOMIC INDICATORS

The number of building permits issued in the Roanoke Valley last month declined 5 percent compared with a year ago. There were 264 permits this year compared with 278 last year. Values improved about 1 percent from $5.6 million in February 1993 to $6.3 million last month.
