NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR SENIOR WORKER AWARD

The League of Older Americans Area Agency on Aging and SuperX Drug Stores are seeking nominees for the 1994 Roanoke Valley Older Worker of the Year.

Nominees must be at least 55 or older, employed and nominated by their current employer for making a positive contribution to the workplace.

Employees may nominate more than one employee.

Roland Pridgen, an employee of Friendship Manor, was the 1993 recipient.

Nomination forms and rules are available at the LOA central office, 706 Campbell Avenue S.W., or at any SuperX Drug Store.

\ TAP enrolling children for Head Start program

Total Action Against Poverty's Head Start program is enrolling 3- and 4-year-olds at its part- and full-day centers for the fall.
