HERBS FOR WHAT AILS YOU

The FDA has never tested or approved most herbal remedies, but that doesn't stop herb shops, and their customers, from using them. A few common herbs and what they are used for:

Red ginseng: Stimulant.

Siberian ginseng: Sedative.

Gan mo ching: Fever, headaches.

Loquat: Cough.

Xiao yao wan: Indigestion.

Valerian: Jet lag, dizziness, anxiety.

Powdered pearl: Cold sores.

Di huang: Anemia.

Turtle jelly: Dry skin.

Myrrh: Poor circulation.

Ginko: Increased alertness.
