CIRCUS HORSE FALLS, INJURING AT LEAST 2 CHILDREN

At least two young children were injured when an Arabian stallion stumbled during an indoor circus and fell backward into the crowd, witnesses said.

The one-ring show by the traveling Royal Palace Circus included animals performing stunts Monday night inside a small National Guard Armory.

Stephanie Hoster, who took her granddaughter to the circus, said the horse fell as trainer Linda Hermann was leading three horses around a ring of small wooden boxes.

"It hit a little girl in the head," Hoster said. "There was a lot of screaming. It was a tumbling mess."
