RELIGION BRIEFS

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER, an annual observance of Church Women United that was postponed because of bad weather, has been rescheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 3911 Greenland Ave. N.W.

\ FIRST FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH, 1019 Gus Nicks Blvd., Vinton, will have a performance of the Easter pageant, "Jesus: The Garden, the Cross, the Triumph," on Sunday at 6 p.m. The pageant includes portraits of those with Jesus on the days before the crucifixion.

Easter services on April 3 will be be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m.

\ THE REV. BRUCE NOFFSINGER, pastor of Hollins Road Church of the Brethren, will preach for Holy Week services Sunday through Wednesday at Vinton Church of the Brethren, 711 Dale Ave. Worship will begin at 7:30, and special music will be performed nightly.

\ THE VICTORS, a group of Roanoke Valley gospel singers, will perform Sunday at 10 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 929 Murray Ave. S.E.
