SERVICE WORKERS APPLAUDED FOR EFFORTS

I want to add a word of thanks to all the people, especially power company employees, who worked out in the bad weather to restore our essential services. I have a little idea about what outdoor work is like this time of year. People who do not have to be outdoors should be very careful how they criticize those who do.

From where I live I can see two Appalachian Power Co. transmission lines crossing the mountains. To me they are things of beauty and a joy forever.\ W. M. Guthrie Dublin
