PUBLIC MEETING ON RECYCLING SET THURSDAY

A public meeting, Waste Disposal and Recycling: Update 1994, will be held Thursday, 7:30-9:30 p.m., in council chambers, Blacksburg Municipal Building, 300 S. Main St. The session is sponsored by The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and will be broadcast over cable channel 2.

Joe Gorman of the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will moderate.

Panelists will include Dawn French of the Montgomery County Improvement Council; Tim Myers, the county recycling coordinator; Lance Terpenny, Christiansburg assistant town manager; Randall Bowling, the county public facilities director; Pat Therrien, manager of the Appalachian Regional Recycling Consortium; David Vogelsong, Blacksburg town engineer; Lou Ferguson, the county public schools' assistant engineer; and Lawrence Bechtel of the Virginia Tech recycling center.
