WOMAN CHARGED WITH WOUNDING FRANKLIN MAN

A Franklin County man was being treated at Roanoke Memorial Hospital Tuesday for stab wounds received in a late-night attack.

A spokeswoman said the hospital was not releasing information on the condition of Ricky Nelsom Hodges, who suffered several wounds to the chest.

Katherine "Kia" Robinson is being held on charges of malicious wounding, said Investigator Gary Shively.

Police were called to the scene on Virginia 1028 near the Waidsboro section of the county shortly before midnight.
