ROANOKE COUNTY CENTER OPENS WITH NEW NAME

The old Roanoke County Administration Center at 3738 Brambleton Avenue has been renamed and will open Friday as the Brambleton Center.

The building, now a county recreational facility, will house the Senior Center, Leisure Arts Center and a new Teen Center. The Virginia Cooperative Extension Service also is in the building.

Edward Buford of Salem won the contest to rename the center.
