PULASKI - The Raymond Ratcliffe Museum in Pulaski will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday for Labor Day weekend.
The museum is in the refurbished train station building donated to the town by the Norfolk Southern Corp. The town spent several years renovating it as a showpiece for the area, and formally reopened it at ceremonies June 11. The Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to move its offices from the Pulaski Municipal Building to the depot during September.
There is no charge to visit the museum.
No trash collection
RADFORD - The City of Radford Public Works Department will not collect trash on Monday, Sept. 5. in observance of Labor Day.
Residents and businesses whose normal collection day is Monday should place their garbage out for collection by 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Tuesday's trash collection will run as scheduled.

Blacksburg closings
BLACKSBURG - The Town of Blacksburg Municipal Building, Community Center and gym, and Blacksburg Transit offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.
The Aquatics Facility will be open from 6 a.m.-3 p.m. and reopen 6-9 p.m.
The town's refuse and recycling collection and Blacksburg Transit will both operate on a regular schedule.
