RAM's annual fund-raiser is Sept. 8
Roanoke Area Ministry's Evening With The Stars will be held Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Roanoke College's Olin Hall. This third annual fund-raiser will benefit RAM's work with the underprivileged and the homeless.
The event's hosts will be Mayor David Bowers and Miss Roanoke Valley Mitzi Ferguson. Other guests include: John Carlin and Kalley King of Channel 10 News; recording artist and minister of music for the Church of the Holy Spirit Michael Brown; and V Magazine Editor and Publisher James Cubby.
Several Miss Virginia contestants will model for the runway fashion presentations.
The event is being supported by Roanoke College, Advance Auto Parts, Central Fidelity Bank and Davis H. Elliot Company Inc.
Admission to the gala is $25 per person. Reservations may be made by calling RAM at 345-8850.
