LETTER CARRIER GROUP RAISING FUNDS FOR MDA

Branch 524 of the National Association of Letter Carriers is holding two fund-raising events for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southwest Virginia.

Members will be placing cannisters along postal routes, and will participate in a "Bowl Against Dystrophy" bowl-a-thon.

Members will also be accepting donations at Valley View Mall and the Tanglewood Kroger store during August.

Money raised by the organization will be used to provide patient services to MDA families in Southwest Virginia.
