AUSTIN LEADS BUCS TO WIN

Jake Austin knocked in four runs and hit a three-run home run to lead the Salem Buccaneers to a 7-3 victory over the Kinston Indians in a Carolina League baseball game Thursday night.

Austin made it 7-1 in the fifth. After Jeff Conger beat out an infield single and Chance Sanford drew a two-out walk, Austin homered to right-centerfield.

Jason Abramavbicius earned the victory by allowing six hits and one run in seven innings of work.
