FOUNDATION STARTED IN ETZLER'S MEMORY

Botetourt County Farm Bureau has established the Botetourt County Farm Bureau Memorial Foundation in memory of John L. Etzler IV in recognition of his contributions and service to the bureau.

The foundation was created to promote agricultural interests in the county through scholarships and sponsorship of youth-related agricultural activities.

The foundation was established by a contribution of $12,000 from the treasury of the bureau, and will accept memorials, recognitions or donations. Only the interest generated by contributions will be spent.

Scholarship selection is based on need and ability, not academic performance.

Donations in the form of a check should be made payable to the foundation and mailed to: Bank of Buchanan, P.O. Box 339, Buchanan, Va. 24066, attention: Linda Wickline.
