The sweep was conducted by sheriff's deputies and tactical team members and a state police helicopter operator.
A Pilot man was charged with possession of marijuana after six plants were found growing along his property, said Lt. O.P. Ramsey.
Sixty other plants were found growing in the Shawsville area. No one was charged because there was no concrete evidence of who was cultivating the plants.
Other areas of the county were checked but no plants were found, Ramsey said.
The 66 plants had an estimated street value of $70,000. The Sheriff's Office will seek a court order to have the plants destroyed.
Ramsey said residents with information on other marijuana gardens may call the Sheriff's Office at 382-2951 or 382-6913.
