NORFOLK AVE., HOLLINS ROAD PORTIONS TO BE CLOSED

A portion of Norfolk Avenue between Jefferson and Market streets in Roanoke will be closed until Sept. 30 while crews install a water line.

A detour will not be established. Access to the delivery area for First Union Tower and the parking garage will be maintained.

Also, the Hollins Road railroad crossing near the Norfolk Southern shops will be closed from 7 a.m. today until 4 p.m. Sept. 21 while maintenance work is done on the tracks. A detour will not be established, but signs will warn motorists.
