INDUSTRY APPRECIATION

City Council has proclaimed Sept. 26-30 as Industry Appreciation Week. At its meeting Monday, council voted unanimously to support the resolution, which notes that over 80 percent of all new jobs are created by existing industry.

The city will join Montgomery, Pulaski, Floyd and Giles counties in various Industry Appreciation Week activities, including an exposition by area companies.
