The defending national champion Virginia men's soccer team used a balanced attack to dispose of Virginia Tech 8-2 Wednesday in Blacksburg.

The Cavaliers led 4-0 by halftime after goals by Mike Fisher, Nate Friends, Tain Nix and Billy Walsh. Damian Silvera made it 5-0 before the Hokies got on the board.
